1 Evaluate and interpret historical developments in the field of Astronomy and Space Sciences.
2 Explain the relationship between matter and energy.
3 Understands the structure, formation, and evolution of the universe; evaluate the diversity of celestial bodies in the universe with scientific, theoretical, and observational methods.
4 Evaluates the physical and chemical properties of celestial bodies and their locations and shapes by using various coordinate and measurement systems.
5 Explains the members of the solar system and the Sun together with their effects on the Earth. Understands and interprets the properties of exoplanet systems.
6 Gains the ability to use basic knowledge of physics and mathematics to understand Astronomy and Space Sciences.
7 Gains knowledge of using observation instruments and measurement techniques. Processes these images by defining the variety of digital and astronomical images. Derives information about the properties and evolution of the source from photons recorded with observation instruments.
8 Collects and analyzes astronomical data, interprets the results with theoretical models by applying error analysis.
9 Creates projects in the fields related to Astronomy and Space Sciences, analyzes the problems related to the subjects with computer knowledge and finds the solutions by preparing programs with various programming languages.
10 Uses and interprets the data from Gamma to Radio of the electromagnetic spectrum and from satellites to ground observations. Knows the space weather, satellites, satellite orbits, and space technologies in the near space.
11 Thinks critically and creatively to solve the problems he/she encounters and uses different methods and up-to-date techniques to reach the solution.
12 Possesses the responsibility to share his thoughts and knowledge with the society on astronomy, science, technology, mathematics, physics, and informatics in secondary education.
13 Uses and shares computational and statistical information with the public and private sectors.
14 Conveys his/her knowledge and thoughts to society on astronomy issues and performs the right guidance.
15 Gains an overview of all basic sciences, owns the consciousness of following the developments in science and technology and keeping their professional knowledge and skills up to date.
