Course objective	Sculpture is an art of space and place. As there is in everything produced by people ,the work has an audience to be presented to and a presentation area to be to face the crowd. The presentation area of the sculpturer is space and place.Sculpture designs are made by considering place possibilities and aesthetics ,also by subtracting from a story or a term. It comprises a creative process in which original projects are developed and tried to be succeeded.
Course description	Things to sculpture design, composition sculpture, proportion, space occupancy, form sensitivity, movement-rhythm, where compliance to position the sculpture, the consideration of environmental factors, the importance of light in sculpture, natural light and shade, the most appropriate statue to place providing information about artificial light and shade is contemplated. Sculpture will be placed in the open field for a period mid-term exams, sculpture is designed to be put into a closed area for the final exam.

Course contents

1	Showing famous sculptors' works which are made for open and closed areas. Giving the names of required books and recommending them to be read.

3	Drafts of drawings for the sculpture project
4	Working on a three dimensional sketch in height of 30 or 50 cm by clarifying one of the drafts

6	Besides the sculpture project's studies,sketch and drawing studies continue. Preparation of the work related to the mid-term exam helps eliminating the deficiencies
