1 The structure of blood and obtaining serum and plasma
2 Antigen preparation
3 Obtaining immune and hyperimmune serum
4 Vaccines, immunological reactions
5 Agglutination, precipitation and agar gel precipitation
6 Complement fixation test
7 Hemagglutination, hemagglutination inhibition tests
8 ELISA and humoral immune response tests
9 Antigen - antibody combinations tests
10 Diagnosis of humoral immunity
11 Immunoelectrophoresis
12 Neutralization, Immunoflouresans tests
13 Radioimmunology
14 Cell separation techniques and Cytotoxicity tests

Learning outcomes of the course unit
1 She/he knows structure of blood, taking of sera and plasma and preparation of antigen
2 To be able to preparation of antigen, to obtain immune and hyperimmune serum to learn the usage of the immunserum
3 To be able to interpret the basic mechanisms of reaction between antigens and antibodies, to be able to apply the serological test that based on this reaction
4 To be able to evaluate and interpret the results of serological tests.
5 To interpret diagnostic tests for cellular immunity
6 To be able to use the knowledge that gained in this course for other courses
