Course objective Labour and social security law aims to handle and teach that legal rights and obligations. Especially Court of Cassation''s decisions are considered.
Course description Labour and social security law handles labour relations with employee, employer and government. Furthermore, labour and social security law aims to protecting individuals against social risks and providing social security of individuals.

Course contents
1 Introduction- historical background
2 Fundamental notions of the Labour law employee, employer and the employers´ representative
3 The relationship between the employer and subcontractor
4 Workplace and management of undertaking
5 The foundation of individual labour law contract
6 The types of individual labour law contracts
7 Work period and overtime work
8 Midterm exam
9 The right of rest- weekly rest day-annual paid leave
10 Termination of the labour law agreement - concept of the termination
11 Period of notice and compensation of notice
12 The scope of the job security- termination with valid reason
13 Procedure of the indivudual labour contracts´ termination and the result of the cancellations
14 Termination of the individual labor contracts with justifield reason - Seniority compensation

Learning outcomes of the course unit
1 Describing the basic concepts of Labour Law. Interpreting the labour agreement.
2 Evaluating the obligations of the labour agreement. Interpreting the termination of the labour agreement and its consequences.
3 Evaluating the subjects regarding the regulation of the work. Types of employment contract will be explained.
4 Provides information about the duration of the study. More information about the nature of the study is done. More study results will be taught.
5 Rights-week holiday in the rest of the concepts of paid annual leave-is described.
6 Termination of employment contract and termination of defined concepts. Awareness of the notice periods and termination indemnities is created.
7 Therefore, what is termination describes the scope and effect of job security.
8 Termination of employment contract and termination procedures will be given information about the results Therefore justify the termination of employment contract-severance pay will be taught.
