Course objective This course is aims to teaching to the students of faculty of pharmacy that basic laboratory work rules,the using technique of a microscope, examination under the microscope, and basic cytogenetics methods used in medical biology and genetics
Course description This course includes basic knowledges that students will read about in later years, and basic methods used in medical biology and genetics, and practical applications.

Course contents
1 Introduction to the laboratory lecture and basic work rules in laboratory
2 The demonstration of the tools using in the Medical biology and genetics II laboratory
3 The using technique of a microscope and measuring in microscope
4 Examining of the live and died cell types
5 The behaviour of plant and animal cells in various osmotic environments
6 Examining of the blood tissue
7 Determination of the blood groups
8 MID-TERM EXAM
9 Examining of the mitosis cell division stages in onion root cells
10 Determination of the sex chromatin in the human exfoliated cells
11 Human T-lymphocyte cell culture-I
12 Human T-lymphocyte cell culture-II
13 Human T-lymphocyte cell culture-III
14 Examining of the nucleolus organiser regions (NOR regions)in interphase nuclei and metaphase chromosomes of the human T-lymphocyte
