Mode of delivery In general, course is up with narration. In each lesson subject must be taught orally, and then must be passed to the practical studies. These are the practical studies: doing home works, doing practice studies with piano and harmonic analyze (on the music works).
Course objective Enabling students to be able to harmonize a melody and analyze the harmonic substructure of a piece.
Course description This lesson gradually contents an introduction of harmony’s diatonic and chromatic systems in western music, an achievement of study on the analyze of a music work’s harmonic language and, the most important of all, an achievement to harmonize any melody.

Course contents
1 Modulation between the tones, which are dependent on far-related connection (between the tones having two roughness differences). Practical studies. Writing, practice on piano and harmonical analyze
2 Repeating.
3 Modulation between the tones having 3 – 6 accidental differences. Practical studies.
4 Repeating.
5 Repeating.
6 Trio voice of low sixth grade (VI.) and modulation through Neapolitan accord ( II.). Practical studies.
7 Continuation of the same topic and control work.
8 Doing works on the base of given lessons.
9 Mid-term Exam: written part: Harmonizing of given soprano melody Practice: Piano works, which were practiced during the term. 1. harmonic analysis (with modulation content) 2. chord rows 3. sequences 4. harmonizing melody 5. Harmonizing a short melody on the piano.
10 Incline and modulation studies on the base of given lessons.
11 Harmonic analyzes studies on the base of given lessons.
12 written control works.
13 Studies on piano.
14 written part: Harmonizing of a given melody Practice: Piano works, which were practiced during the term. 1. harmonic analysis (with modulation content) 2. chord rows 3. sequences 4. harmonizing melody 5. Harmonizing a short melody on the piano.
