Course objective The course aims to help students explore the current technologies used in tourism businesses and the tourism sector in general, and what are their basic characteristics.
Course description This course focuses on the role of technology in the tourism sector, its uses and advantages. In today''s digital age, it is inevitable for tourism businesses to adapt to technology in order to gain competitive advantage. The course will cover topics such as information systems, artificial intelligence, big data analytics, mobile applications, smart hotel systems, online reservation systems, virtual and augmented reality. In addition, current technological trends in the sector and their impact on businesses will also be examined.
