Course objective Understanding the properties of the proteins and principles of the protein purifications
Course description Properties of biological products, pretreatment, enzymatic , chemical and physical cell fragmentation methods, isolation of the proteins, sources of proteins biological objects, protein stabilisation, qualitative and quantitative determination of protein, centrifuge and centrifuge applications, precipitation and applications of precipitation, fractional precipitation, chromatographic methods and chromatographic separations, gel filtration chromatography, ion exchange chromatography, affinity chromatography , paper chromatography, other chromatographic techniques, electrophoresis and electrophoretic methods, gel electrophoresis, SDS- PAGE, isoelectric focusing , two-dimensional (2D) electrophoresis.
