Course objective The main objective of the course is to get students aware of the most renowned authors and their contributions to literature and culture and also how the historical, artistic and cultural context influenced literature) in various literary periods of Literature in English.
Course description This course is basically an overview of the specific issued in Culture and periods and movements in literature, with constant reference to their specific genres. The focus will be on the connection between culture and literature. It is designed to give students an exposure to different perspectives and interpretations of literature by major authors and its importance, particularly within the English cultural context.
