Course objective With exlibris artistic works getting skills of creativity, design, innovation, sensitivity of color and form and careful and fastidious work; also aiming to form suitable vision of arts for personalities. This course covers a variety of techniques.
Course description Students explore the expressive forms and history of printmaking while learning various printmaking techniques and combined with the most advanced digital and photomechanical processes. Students study various ways of utilizing the photo screen process with hand-drawn and painted transparencies, photocopies, litho films, and separations created with computer programs such as Photoshop. Students are encouraged to use the photo screen print potential to realize works and prints incorporating concepts from other disciplines such as photography, drawing, painting, and graphic design.

Course contents
1 Introducing the Exlibris ; it’s sorts and printmaking techniques. Showing original Exlibris samples.
2 Introducing the exlibris sorts and throughout history. Introducing the tools and machines will be used during works.
3 Introducing the process line in printing. Determining the printing area and paper extents.
4 Preparing the sketches for single color exlibris.
5 Determining the printmaking techniques after the choice on the sketche will be printed.
6 Preparing the printing mold and papers.
7 EXAM
8 Making the single color exlibris. After printing, cleaning the work field.
9 Preparing the sketches for the three exlibris (several colors).
10 Determining the printmaking techniques. Preparing the printing papers.
11 Preparing the molds due to the printing line. Making the printing of the first exlibris.
12 Printing the other exlibris work . After printing, cleaning the work field.
