Course objective The aim of the course is to help students improve their written and verbal expression skills through words, grammar and sentence structures that are frequently used in Russian.
Course description In the course, which takes place in the form of dialogue, active learning methods are used for students to learn the language structures needed in daily life, express themselves and discuss current issues. Each lesson contains new grammar and sentence structures to open new titles in hand-written texts, exercises and group work. Assessments and exams are carried out in the form of oral and written presentation of a topic chosen by the student.

Course contents
1 "Which hotel is good for you?" (ПРКЯ p. 5-8). A conversation on the topic: "I am the manager of the hotel." Listening skills.
2 Topic: "Weather". Direct and figurative (secondary) meaning of the word (ПРКЯ 21-23). Dialogues.
3 Working with the text "Our brain" (ПРКЯ. 27-30). How does gambling affect a person''''''''''''''''s personality?
4 A conversation on the topic: "What is happiness?" (ПРКЯ.40-42).
5 Working with the text "Who is Ataturk?" Mustafa Kemal Ataturk through the eyes of foreigners. (ПРКЯ 71-73).
6 Lexical means of scientific style. Working with texts: "Abstract", "CV", "Court decision". "Statement". (ПРКЯ 91-95)
7 A practical lesson. Working with documents. Preparation of documents. Translation. Listening comprehension
8 Conversation. Dialogues. Repetition. Midterm exam
9 Conversations about proverbs (С. 91-94). The comparative aspect.
10 A conversation on the topic: "Portrait of a successful person: the ability to set goals and solve problems." (С.95). Monologue on the topic "Success. Successful people"
11 My country is today and tomorrow. Work on the texts "My country today and tomorrow. Ecuador.", "My country is Italy" (С. 104-105). / Conversation on the topic: "Turkey today and tomorrow"
12 Working with text: "Reading A. S. Pushkin is an ideal example of Russian speech" (С. 106). Work on the text of A. S. Pushkin''''''''''''''''s poetry "The Prisoner" (С. 167). A conversation about poetry and symbolism in Turkish literature.
13 Working with the text "The role of impressions in human life" (С. 107-108). A conversation on the topic: Impressionability as a part of the Turkish mentality
