Prerequisites and course requisities This is a compulsory course for the undergraduate students. Students have to attend 70 % of the course hours in a term.

Mode of delivery This course is conducted 2 hours a week . Answer- question, describing and grammar- translation, skimming, and scanning methods are used.
Course objective To give the opportunity to the students to acquire skills in English structure,listening, speaking and writing. TO guide the students to develolp the skills of comprehension,vocabulary, spelling and critical reading and thinking.
Course description This course is designed for intermediate or upper intermediate students who finished preparatory school of the university. Its principle aim is to teach English essential for doing business in today’s global marketplace after graduation. It takes account of relevant contexts and environment where English is often used as the language of communication. Relevant topics are also provided for the students to be more effective in everyday business communication.

Learning outcomes of the course unit
1 - To give the opportunity to the students to acquire skills in English structure, listening, speaking , reading and writing. To guide the students to develop the skills of comprehension, vocabulary, spelling, critical reading and thinking, and reading rate.
2 To create the atmosphere in which the students can improve their ability to use the language of the specific discipline effectively they pursue.
