Dersin Amacı	This is an introduction to broadly defined and experimentally nuanced sub-disciplines of the overall field: political theory, comparative politics, international relations, scientific methods, and several other that will be discussed in detail throughout the semester.
Dersin Tanımı	This course is an introduction to a field of study that is anything but intellectually simple and easily comprehended. This is an introduction to broadly defined and experimentally nuanced sub-disciplines of the overall field: political theory, comparative politics, international relations, scientific methods, and several other that will be discussed in detail throughout the semester. Most aspects of our daily lives are influenced by political decisions made on local, state, and national governmental levels (with or without the consent of “we the people”). We will examine the systems and processes that lead to these political decisions. We will learn how to analytically determine – who wins and who loses and why. Resulting in the just or unjust distribution of political largess. Class discussions and lectures will enable IR majors to be familiar with various strategic approaches that produce differing political outcomes. All the methods used in class will encourage students to fine-tune your critical thinking and analytical skills regarding political concepts and convictions. Learning how to write coherently about political issues and research will also be addressed.
