Course objective In this course aimed to gain knowledge and awareness about general health problems of Turkey,health organization,diseases of acute and chronic, the prevention of multiparite and its complications, using health service indicators,winning opinions with disadvantage groups and their health problems and paths of protection in the community. And to gain positive attitude them the scope of this content.
Course description In this course the students will gained knowledge and awareness about general health problems in Turkey, level of health, organization of health,disadvantaged groups in terms of acute and chronic diseases, harmful habits, healthy nutrition and methods of family planning.

2 Historical improvements of medical and primary health services
3 Health people power and comprehension health organization in Turkey
4 Demography and Health
5 Comprehension mother- child health and family planning
6 Services of Immunization
7 Worker and place of employment health, Measures of prevention and control
8 Visa Exam
9 Issues of environment health young people, the importance and measures of control and prevention
10 Sexually Transmitted Disease and the importance and measures of control and prevention
11 Issues of health of young and elderly people, measures of control and prevention
12 Knowledge of general nutrition
13 Explanation the harmful habits for health which is viewing at the folk, measures of control and prevention

Learning outcomes of the course unit
1 Be grasped base concept at the folk health and its importance
2 Be grasped structure of population, composition and changing and the causal connection of health care organization and presentation
3 Be intentional gained of knowledge, attitude and behavior about issues of health mother-child, young and elderly people, the importance and measures of control and prevention.
4 Be intentional gained of knowledge, attitude and behavior about the steps chain of infection Sexually and socially transmitted diseases,the measures of control and prevention for source, transmission routes and responsive host
5 Be gained knowledge and awareness about services of immunization and principles of its, the importance of cold-chain.
6 Be gained knowledge, attitude and awareness about disadvantages of excessive fertility on health of mother-child and community, measures of control and prevention,using and presentation services of family planning .
7 Be gained intentional knowledge, attitude and behavior about occupational health end safety, prevention and control work accidents and occupational diseases.
8 Be gained knowledge, attitude and awareness about harmful habits for health, its prevalence, dependence, measures of prevention and control.
9 Be gained knowledge and awareness about principles of healthy nutrision and its importance.
10 Be gained awareness and positive attitude about general health problems of Turkey, the measures prevention and control.
