4 Komplex cümlelerde temel cümle ile yan cümle ayrımını yapabilmek
5 Okurken veya çeviri yaparken cümlenin yükleminin aktif mi yoksa pasif mi olduğunu anlayabilmek
6 Çeviri yaparken her zaman birebir çeviri yapılmayacağını bilmek
7 Çeviri yaparken karşılaştığı İngilizce kelimelerin her zaman sözlükteki karşılığı olmadığını, cümlenin gelişine göre kendi alan bilgilerini de kullanarak uygun anlamlı kelimeler kullanması gerektiğini bilmek
8 Fiillerin 3. hallerinin ve -ing takısı alan hallerinin sadece tek bir anlama gelmediğini, çeşitli anlamlarla cümleye bağlandığını bilmek
9 Alanlarında kullanılan kelime bilgisine genel anlamda hakim olmak
