Course objective To gain the knowledge and skills of nutrition, health knowledge and first aid methods that students will need in their future teaching profession and private life.
Course description Learn general nutritional and nutrition rules, health information and first aid practices

Course contents
1 Natural and healthy nutrition, combating obesity, food additives, healthy life and exercise, growth and development
2 Definition of health information and first aid, purpose, health-related developments, Healthy sex life,combating addiction, Traffic and general rules, Protection from infectious and fatal diseases,
3 Diseases related to the Digestive System and first aid techniques that can be done.
4 Diseases related to Respiratory System and first aid techniques.
5 Diseases related to Circulatory System and first aid techniques that can be done.
6 Diseases related to the Urinary System and first aid techniques that can be performed.
7 Diseases related to Skeletal System and first aid techniques.
8 Diseases related to Muscular System and first aid techniques that can be done.
9 Nervous System related diseases and first aid techniques that can be done.
10 Diseases related to Endocrine System and first aid techniques that can be done.

Learning outcomes of the course unit
1 Learn what food and nutrition mean, the rules of healthy nutrition. Have information about food additives.
2 Learn the definition of health and learn the necessary exercises for a healthy life. Have knowledge aboutcombating obesity.
3 Be aware of new developments in the field of health.
4 Learn what is necessary for healthy growth and development. Have knowledge about healthy sex life.
5 Understand what is addiction, its types and how to fight.
6 Have information about common diseases. Learns the precautions to be taken against these diseases.
7 Understands the general care of the body and protection from infections, what healthy life means.
8 Have information about general traffic rules and responsibilities.
9 Has information about the causes, consequences and types of disasters. Have basic first aid knowledge.
10 The patient knows what their rights are.
