Course objective The objective of this course is to teach the student the herbal teas.
Course description Herbal Teas

Course contents
1 Herbal teas and mixtures.
2 Indications and probable therapies: gall bladder diseases, psychological problems, cold and cough, kidney and bladder diseases, cancer prevention.
3 Herbal products: bag teas, instant teas, spray-dried extracts, tea granules.
4 Tea making: drug and liquid ratio, particle sizes of drugs, extraction method.
5 Storage and packaging of drugs.
6 Tests on plant drugs.
7 Residues on plant drugs.
8 Microbial contamination.
9 Heavy metal contamination.
10 Pesticidal impurities. Radioactive contamination.
11 Herbal teas and related monographs.
12 Legislations of herbal products in the world.
13 Quality control of herbal products.
14 Limit values for drugs.
