Course objective To able to convey the progress of Classic Western music to students in terms of the periods it has lived.to explain the process history of the viola.to explain the music terminology.to be able to improve students’ creativeness .to be able to make analaysis on the works.
Course description Lessons must be done according to the given material. Students are intended to be supported by earning, telling, question and answering and practicing on the lessons. During the period students will be given composers about done themes and ask to do studying.

Course contents
1 Two octave scale. (Detache, 2-4 legato) 2nd and 3rd positions
2 Two octave scale ( detache 2-4 legato). 2, 3 etudes.
3 Two octave scale (detache, 2-4-8 legato). Arpeggio, Parallel minor, two etudes for a different position.
4 Two octave scale, detache 2- 4-8-16 legato. Arpeggio, Parallel minor, Technical exercises for right and left hands, exercises for vibration.
5 Two octave scale, detache 2-4-8-16 legato. Arpeggio, Exercises for vibration, sound quality
6 Two octave scale, detache 2-4–8–16 legato. Arpeggio, Parallel minor, etudes in 2nd and 3rd position.
7 Pizzicato.Two etudes for diverse techniques.
