Course objective The objective of this course is to introduce students to the economic analysis of the tourism industry.
Course description Specific topics will include the following: the factors influencing the demand for tourism, the supply and cost structures in tourism industry, the impact of market structure on tourism businesses, the impact of tourism spending on the regional and national economies, the relationship between the government and the tourism industry.
