Dersin Amacı	1.To read and interpret critical texts by using the proper specialized terminology 2.To formulate logical conclusions about culture from the selected literary pieces read.
Dersin Tanımı	This course is basically a study of culture. As a continuation of Cultural Studies I, the focus will be this time on Cultural Criticism and Cultural Theory. It is designed to give students an exposure to different perspectives and interpretations of culture, out of all possible aspects of life and arts, literature in social context being preeminent. The main objective of the course is to familiarize students with the most renowned theories and theorists in the field: T.Adorno, A,Gramsci, J.F.Lyotard, Z.Slavoj, B.Walter etc.
