Course objective The objective of this course is to teach the student the basic knowledge which include, cells, structure and function of muscle and nervous tissue, nervous system.
Course description The structures of muscle and nerve tissues, functions and characteristics of the cells forming these tissues, organs of the nervous system forms portions of the system provides the structural and functional properties.

1 Muscle Tissue : Skeletal Muscle
2 Muscle Tissue: Cardiac Muscle
3 Muscle Tissue: Smooth Muscle
4 Nervous Tissue: The cells (neuron) and Support cells (Neuroglial cells)
5 Nervous Tissue: Nerve Fibers, Synapses
6 Nervous Tissue: Central Nervous System: a. Cerebrum
7 Nervous Tissue: Central Nervous System: b. Cerebellum and Caudex
8 Nervous Tissue: Central Nervous System: c. Medulla Spinalis

10 Nervous Tissue: Peripheral Nervous System: a. Ganglia (Autonomic and Sensory)
