Course objective The purpose of Pharmaceutical Botany lesson, pharmacists candidates, which is used as a medicine or drug that gives plants a short words to teach medicinal plants. Other than that pharmacists candidate , useful (food , spices, dyes , etc.) with plants that are poisonous , also must learn , especially in his own country grows about what has extensive knowledge should be , these plants they are growing region , usage should know . In addition, certain criteria must recognize the flora of the country.
Course description Direct drug or drugs used in the construction is the branch of science that studies plants . During this examination of plants organography place on the basis of specific structures , officinal portions , i.e. drugs to whether an agent giving rise mainly , as well as the materials and effects of drugs to indicate primarily cares.

Learning outcomes of the course unit
1 Basic concepts, classification of drugs and medicinal plants and learn the Latin naming conventions .
2 Food and recognize useful plants used for other purposes
3 Distinguish poisonous plants
4 Used as a pharmaceutical raw material or excipient and used in phytotherapy plants and drugs , is a diagnosis based on morphology and anatomy .
