Mode of delivery Topics will be prepared written by the students and they will also do an oral presentation on their topics. Presentations can be discussed in full class participation in addition to further studies of the court verdicts about the given topic and theoretical opinions. New approaches will be tried to be constructed in the meanwhile.
Course objective Studying the conditions of Product Liability and their analysis in the light of court verdicts is the main focus. Practical solutions to disputes in the area of Product Liability is also included.
Course description Product liability is the area of law in which manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, retailers, and others who make products available to the public are held responsible for the injuries those products cause. Negligence element is not mandatory in order to be liable for Defect. In addition to that, contractual relationship between manufacturer and injured party is also unneeded.
