1	Farmakoloji ve toksikoloji alanındaki her türlü bilgiyi (zehirlenme, kirlilik, ilaç kullanımı v.b.) derlemek ve değerlendirmek.
2	Farmakoloji ve toksikoloji ile ilgili alanlar hakkında derinlemesine bilgilere sahip olmak. Farmakoloji ve toksikoloji alanındaki sorunları çözebilmek.
3	Farmakoloji ve toksikoloji alanındaki olayları kavramsallaştırmak, bilimsel yöntemleri analiz etmek, sonuçları yorumlamak, sorunlar için yöntem veya analiz oluşturmak ve elde edilen verilere göre çözümler sunmak.
4	Farmakoloji ve toksikoloji alanında edindiği bilgileri kullanarak halk ve hayvan sağlığı için ilaç kullanımı, besin maddelerinde kalıntılar ve çevre toksikolojisi ile ilgili sorunların tanımlanması ve çözümüyle ilgilenen komisyonların faaliyetlerini yönetmek.
5	Farmakoloji ve toksikoloji alanındaki güncel bilgileri (bilimsel bilgi, düzenleme v.b.) izleyebilmek, kullanabilmek ve değiştirebilmek.
6	Yabancı dil (İngilizce)’de yayınlanan kaynakları okuyup anlayabilme
7	Yerli ve yabancı bilim insanları ile sözlü ve yazılı iletişime geçebilme
8	Farmakoloji ve toksikoloji ile ilgili makaleler yazabilmek ve ulusal ve uluslar arası dergilerde yayın yapma becerisi kazanmak.
