Dersin Amacı	The aim of this course is to provide students with fundamental knowledge, skills, and competencies in the field of occupational health and safety. Within the scope of the course, students will acquire the ability to: recognize ergonomic risk factors and apply safe working methods in manual lifting and handling operations; understand the principles of flammability, explosion, fire, and fire protection; evaluate the safe use of work equipment and working conditions with display screen equipment; and identify electrical hazards, risks, and necessary precautions. Analyze the causes of workplace accidents and apply accident prevention principles and techniques. Recognize safety and health signs and manage the use of personal protective equipment. Develop awareness of general occupational health and safety rules and the creation of a safety culture. Gain competence in planning and implementing evacuation and rescue processes in emergency situations.
Dersin Tanımı	This course provides advanced knowledge in occupational health and safety, covering ergonomic risk factors, manual lifting and handling, flammability and explosions, fire and fire protection, safe use of work equipment, working with display screens, electrical hazards and precautions. It also addresses the causes of workplace accidents, prevention principles and techniques, safety and health signs, the use of personal protective equipment, general occupational health and safety rules, safety culture, and evacuation and rescue in emergencies. The aim is to equip students with the skills to conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures in the workplace.
