Mode of delivery This course is given as 21 hours per week during the first five weeks of the second semester of the third year. In the first two weeks, the lessons in the module are taught in the classroom theoretically, and in the next three weeks, the students make clinical practice in related fields. The subjects in the module are carried out by the faculty members of the relevant department. Interactive training methods are used in the theoretical part of the courses.
Course objective This module aims to provide students with theoretical and practical knowledge and skills on Musculoskeletal and Joint-Connective Tissue System related physical examination, diagnosis and treatment methods, Musculoskeletal and Joint-Connective Tissue System diseases (Rheumatoid arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), Polyarteritis nodosa (PAN), Acute rheumatic fever ), developing problems, congenital anomalies and nursing care, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder and nursing care, Mental retardation and nursing approach, Quality and Accreditation in Health Services.
Course description In this module, diseases related to Musculoskeletal and Joint-Connective Tissue System, diagnosis, treatment methods and nursing care are mainly included. Module, Musculoskeletal and Joint-Connective Tissue System related physical examination and diagnosis methods, diseases, treatment methods, congenital anomalies, neuromuscular diseases, posttraumatic stress disorder, mental retardation, musculoskeletal system and joint-connective tissue system diseases. and film discussion.
