İt define the function of periodontal tissues and the characteristic of dentogingival junction. İt define the defense mechanism of the dentogingival area. it can identify and evaluate healty gum in clinical applications. It define tissue reactions about orthodontic tooth movement. It define the different effects in different locations depending on the type of tooth movement. It define the theories with regard occurrence of tooth movement. It define amount of optimum force for tooth movement.
